Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of deep relaxation in which our minds become more open to suggestion. The Hypnotherapist uses special techniques to help you to become as relaxed as you can be and then utilises this state to help you to achieve your goals.

There is a common misconception that hypnosis will make you lose control. This is not the case at all, you will be aware of what is going on and able to come out of the hypnotic state at any time.


What can it help with?

Hypnotherapy can help with many things from helping you sleep better and stress relief to stopping smoking and phobias. Hypnotherapy is also very effective when used alongside a weight loss program or to help improve confidence and self esteem or motivation.

Is it suitable for me?

Hypnosis may not be appropriate for the following people:

  • Those suffering with mental health problems
  • Sufferers of Epilepsy
  • Sufferers of Chronic Depression
  • Those using Tranquilisers or similar medication
  • Women in the early stages of pregnancy
